Through art, all stories must be told.
Through art, all stories must be told.
Growing up, I lived between two distinct worlds. In one, I had to learn what it meant to be Mexican—its culture, traditions, and history. In the other, I navigated life as an American immigrant, adapting to a new language and identity. That duality shaped both who I am and how I approach my art.
My work is a dialogue between my roots and identity. I paint to reconnect with Mexico—its colors, history, and raw emotion—while ensuring my work remains honest, unapologetic, and deeply personal.
I gravitate toward portraits, capturing human complexity through vibrant colors and expressive brushstrokes. But I also love to experiment, working with acrylics, oils, and papier-mâché to bring my vision to life.
Art, to me, is storytelling—translating emotions, experiences, and identity onto a canvas. Through every brushstroke, I aim to create something real, honest, and deeply felt.
Let's connect! I'd love to hear your thoughts, collaboration, or just a simple hello.
